Newsletters: How to Create and Develop Your Own Newsletter the Right Way Every Time! Part 4

Will it be hard to start my own free newsletter?

The biggest and most profound reason most people shy away from publishing thier own free newsletter is that they think it is much more difficult to accomplish then it really is. There are really only 3 or 4 things you will need in order to publish your free newsletter just like the gurus do.

1. You need to have selected the niche you are going to focus in for you free newsletter.

2. You will need to have organized and come up with a means of developing and delivering new and interesting content for each issue of your free newsletter. I have seen many newsletter experts recommend that you take a day or two and concentrate on developing content for the first 3 to 6 months and load this content to your autoresponder. FYI, autoresponders can be scheduled for delivery at any time in the future, be it a day, a week or several months out. This way you will not be too pressed when it comes time to publish each issue of your free newsletter. The only information you will need to create at that point is filler content: what to advertise and promote in this issue, what tips do I want to pass along in this issue, what current events do I need to share with my subscribers base. You get the picture I think?

3. You will need an autoresponder service that has a broadcast feature. What is an autoresponder? As defined in another article I wrote titled "Email Autoresponders: What The Heck Are Those?" Autoresponders are computer programs that automatically answer emails sent to it. Another way to define an autoresponder is that it is a computer program that automatically returns or sends a prewritten message to anyone who submits email to a particular Internet email address, whether for an individual or a website. Autoresponders are widely used by websites to respond to visitor questions, suggestions or comments in a predefined way. They are also the most efficient and effective way to deliver each issue of your free newsletter into the mail boxes of your customers. When you get to a point where you have an exceptionally large email list, then it is advised that you consider other delivery methods that are more practical and convenient.

4. Website? You may be surprised but having a website is actually an optional component. In short, there are newsletter publishers publishing their newsletters without a website that are extremely successful! But of course, having your own website can offer you tremendous advantages, such as the ability to bring in more subscribers and having your newsletter indexed in the top Search Engines.

This short article series on how to approach the development of your own free newsletter is by no means a complete picture or guide to everything you need to do to get it right the first time. Look for future articles that will expand upon these and other concepts that you will benefit from when publishing your own paid or free newsletter. You can also do a keyword search on your favorite search engine for resources to help you better prepare yourself for your new newsletter project. Send me a copy of your newsletter as I am always looking for new qualified resources on the Internet. Thanks for reading this article series! This concludes my Article Series on
